Review by hotel critic
As an avid scuba diver and lover of coastal destinations, I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Amara Resort & Spa in Sedona. the location of the resort is truly remarkable, nestled amidst the stunning Red Rock views and the tranquil Oak Creek—a feast for the eyes and soul. One of the standout features of this resort is the impeccable culinary experience offered by Chef David Duncan and his team. the blend of modern cuisine with traditional Southwest flavors using local Verde Valley ingredients was a true delight for the taste buds. From the exquisite 4-course menu to the hand-crafted cocktails at SaltRock, every dining experience was a celebration of flavors and creativity. From the attentive valet staff to the warm welcome drink upon arrival, every detail was thoughtfully curated to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience. Despite the minor hiccup with housekeeping, where the service was inconsistent, the overall ambiance and amenities more than made up for it. the infinity pool overlooking the Red Rocks, the cozy fire pit area, and the well-kept grounds added to the charm of the resort. Whether you're a solo traveler seeking serenity or a couple looking for a romantic getaway, this resort is a perfect blend of luxury and nature's tranquility. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Sedona's breathtaking landscapes.
